The insulated bowl of the Solar Sipper has a black plastic cover that absorbs and holds the sun’s heat.

This collected solar heat keeps 32 oz. of water from freezing throughout the day even when the temperature drops to 20 degrees. Small opening in the cover allows birds to drink while keeping the water clean.
